in the 90's, a priest allegedly managed to connect with christ themself through a digital medium, and sent out copies of the program to many disiples. but many deaths followed suit, but none could quite connect it back to the priest. the priest that night, burned down both the church and himself in a fit of hysteria. The police say all copies have been found and taken in, yet more and more strange suicide cases keep popping up in nearby towns to this very day.
Although the stories of the copies sent out vary to the point of near unrelatability, they all have the connection of old floppy disks with bible verses stuck to them. a few of them read "1 Peter 2:9" "Hebrews 5:1" and "Proverbs 12:17". although later ones (about 1-2 days after the suicides came into light) only read "Proverbs 12:17". onto the priest themself, his name was Abner Echo, a priest in Loup City, Nebraska. in a interview about his stunning communications with christ, he said he majored in relidgion, but always kept coding at the back of his mind. those around him months before his breakthrough said that "...he was searching, we didnt know for what he searched, but he was none the less searching." Given what i know at this time, it is indecisive if this being is related to the others or is simply coincidence that they share the sonic form.
